Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there. I hope you have a fabulous day that includes breakfast in bed, some champagne, and quality time with your families.
I know everyone says it, but I have the best mom in the world. She has taught me to be a great business woman, fashionable, and kind. Basically, she has been the best role model and women for me to look up to!
I took pictures of photos of my mom with my iPhone to share with you her fashion sense over the years. I love how her look changed from time to time, trend to trend, and how she adopted the different styles along the way.
When my mom was younger she had the longest, most beautiful hair. She rocked a solid high-waisted pair of jeans with a relaxed snug fitting tee. Ultra cool if you ask me.
My mom loved a good romper, jump suit, or maxi dress. She had all the goods. Iflyshe had kept them all for me. Her flowing locks and straw hat are pretty on trend for what we are seeing today in style & fashion.
I think the 80's were one of my favourite fashion times with my mom. She worked at a bank her entire life - so at times, looking back now, she rocked the Angela Bower suit. Shoulder pads and all. Can we take a moment and turn our attention to my Auntie Carole standing beside my mom - how rock'in is that cream suit? The gold buttons make for great detailing.
Perms, perms, and more perms. My mom loved a good perm or bad perm, whatever she rocked it.I loved her big HAIR! I remember this party, my moms dress, her blush, and lipstick. Let's also take note of my Auntie Nicki in the background wearing HUGE glasses - wish I had a pair of those now! I love the oversized striped sweater she has on too. The size of her hair is also pretty epic.
